My friends and I can’t seem to choose which Raleigh golf course to play 18 holes at this weekend. It’s difficult, as there is a lot of competition in the city and around the city, and throughout the rest of North Carolina. My friends and I, we all have a different favorite course. At the end of the day, there’s no way that we’re going to lose because they are all quite good. And there is nothing better than going out with your buddies, swing and some clubs, missing some short putts and making some long ones, and having a good old time with a few beers in the Sun. I consider myself very lucky to be a year-round resident here in North Carolina.
Personally, I think that this is one of the most underrated states in the entire country of the United States of America. I’ve lived in all sorts of states, and travel through most of the rest of them, except the Dakotas and a few others in the Upper Midwest. I’ve been told I’m not missing out on much, but correct me if I’m wrong. Anyway, I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude that I am living in a city, in a state, in a country where my biggest quandary for the day is what golf course my friends and I are going to be playing at on the weekend. I think baby Jesus every single day for this great, great life that I’ve been granted. Sometimes the little things get to your head and it’s hard to remember how great we really have it. But we do have it pretty great. I know I do, and I guess I shouldn’t speak for you. But you can put this on record as a contract to myself that I will remember how sweet my life really really really is. Anyway, all the best to you, and thanks for reading.
